What about, “mineral” or “full-bodied?” Or more level-300 terms like “stemmy” or “sur lie”? We’ll blind-taste 3 South American wines, and navigate the choppy waters of intentional, professional wine description and wine translation. By the time the class is over, you’ll be able to translate what your sommelier is talking about, and at the very least, you’ll be able to walk into a wine bar without feeling like an a$*hole 🙂
