The revitalization of The Speedway will provide unique space for independent businesses and nonprofits, while creating jobs, encouraging entrepreneurship, and showcasing the vitality of the neighborhood’s vibrant and creative community. It will also create a reliable community gathering space for an ever-evolving neighborhood.
Beginning in summer 2020, The Speedway will once again be a launching point from which to enjoy and explore the Charles River. It is being re-developed by the Architectural Heritage Foundation in partnership with the Department of Conservation and Recreation’s Historic Curatorship Program.
Ideally situated as a significant gateway to the vibrant Allston-Brighton neighborhoods and the Charles River’s green spaces.

The Speedway is now leasing space for food and beverage operators, small shops, makers and artisans, and creative office users. Available spaces range from 250 to 5,000 SF.
